2021 CHEVROLET EQUINOX TO OFFER ENHANCED SAFETY AND STYLING

February 17th, 2020 by

The brand new 2021 Chevrolet Equinox is coming to dealerships this fall! This new model year will offer enhanced stylings and safety configurations to further improve on this great SUV. With it being Chevrolet’s best-selling SUV and the second best-selling vehicle from General Motors overall, these improvements continue to make it better and better for the consumer. The 2021 Equinox will be available in five different trim levels (including the RS for the first time!) and will have redesigned front and rear fascias, new LED headlights, and a more aggressive front grille design. The RS trim will showcase a black and red forward interior and exterior coloring to add more options to the trim line-up. The Premier trim level is also getting some high-end upgrades in terms of aesthetics like a logo projection liftgate, French stitching on the interior, and a high black gloss finish on the center console.

In terms of safety features, the driver assistance technologies will now be available on more of the trim levels. Some of these features include an HD surround vision camera system, following distance indicator, safety alert seat, and a camera-based adaptive cruise control. The 2020 Chevrolet Equinox did win the 2019 IIHS Top Safety Pick and a NHTSA 5-star overall vehicle score for safety, and with these available features it’s not hard to see why.
