What is the difference between the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban

When it comes to hitting the road or taking on the elements, our Lakewood area drivers can’t go wrong when getting behind the wheel of a Chevy SUV, or any model in our new Chevy inventory that is. But you may be asking yourself, “what’s the difference between the Chevy Tahoe and the Chevy suburban?” Well, at your local Emich Chevrolet dealer, we’re here to answer that question on both of these exceptional SUVs!
Interior Technology
For both the Tahoe and the Suburban, neither lack infotainment features and creature comforts. In fact both models have plenty to offer, so when it comes to interior features, the only difference is optional features available to upgraded trim levels such as heated and cooled seats as well as keyless ignition. In both Chevy SUVs, climate-controlled air conditioning, satellite radio, Bluetooth, power seats, HD radio, parking assistance, and navigation are standard features.
Cargo Room & Storage
The seating capacity is eight passengers for both the Tahoe and the Suburban. Both vehicles include premium cloth upholstery. However, when it comes to interior the Suburban and Tahoe differ in cargo space. The Suburban offers more rear passenger headroom, slightly more legroom, a higher cargo capacity, and a larger wheel-base.
Performance & Fuel Efficiency
While the Tahoe might be smaller, it does feature a higher towing and payload capacity than the Suburban. The Tahoe can tow 300 additional pounds and carry 30 additional pounds in the rear than the Suburban.
Both the Tahoe and the Suburban come standard with a 5.3L V-8 engine and rear-wheel drive. They have the same fuel economy, averaging 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
