Chevy Blazer EV vs Honda Prologue: 2027 Blazer EV vs 2026 Prologue Compared
Last updated: October 19, 2026 | Emich Chevrolet, Lakewood | Specs from each manufacturer
The Chevy Blazer EV and Honda Prologue are two-row electric SUVs with strikingly similar numbers: the same 220-hp and 300-hp outputs, an 85 kWh battery, a 121.8-inch wheelbase and a 1,500-lb tow rating. The Prologue costs less; the Blazer EV adds available hands-free Super Cruise, a native NACS port and a 615-hp SS. Here is the 2027 Blazer EV against the 2026 Prologue, using each manufacturer’s published specs.

Quick Verdict
The 2026 Prologue starts $5,100 lower with 2WD ($39,900 vs $45,000) and $6,000 lower with AWD ($42,000 vs $48,000), goes farther with AWD (294 vs 283 miles) and adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2027 Blazer EV goes slightly farther with FWD (312 vs 308 miles) and has more cargo space, a 17.7-inch touchscreen, a native NACS port and available hands-free Super Cruise, which Honda does not offer. Power and towing ratings are the same, apart from the 615-hp Blazer EV SS.

The Matchup: Near Twins on Paper, Different on Price and Tech
Honda cut every 2026 Prologue price by $7,500 on April 1, 2026, and its Sept. 9 price sheet keeps those prices with a $1,595 destination charge. Honda has not announced a 2027 Prologue. The 2027 Blazer EV starts at $45,000 plus $1,795 destination; Emich’s current stock is the 2026 Blazer EV LT, which uses a CCS1 charge port.
Both list an 85 kWh battery with a 220-hp, 243 lb-ft front motor or a 300-hp, 355 lb-ft dual-motor AWD system, and both are rated to tow 1,500 lbs. Honda charges $2,100 for AWD on the EX and $2,800 on the Touring, and the Elite is AWD only; Chevrolet charges $3,000 for AWD on the LT and RS. Only the Blazer EV offers a performance model, the 615-hp SS.
They are almost the same size: 192.2 vs 192.0 inches long on the same 121.8-inch wheelbase. Against the Prologue EX, the Blazer EV has more cargo space (25.5 vs 25.2 cu ft behind the rear seat and 59.1 vs 57.7 folded) and more front legroom (44.2 vs 41.4 in.), while the Prologue has more rear legroom (39.4 vs 38.9 in.). The Prologue Touring and Elite have 23.7 and 54.5 cu ft because of their panoramic moonroof.

Hands-Free Driving: Super Cruise vs Honda Sensing
Super Cruise is hands-free driver assistance, and drivers must still pay attention to the road. It is standard on the SS. On the LT it adds $6,290 in total (the $3,795 Super Cruise Package plus the required $2,495 Comfort and Convenience Package), and on the RS $5,190 (with the required $1,395 RS Convenience and Driver Confidence Package); the package also adds Bose audio and Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist. The plan is included for three years, then GM charges for a plan starting at $39.99 a month. On the LT and RS, Super Cruise also works while towing, with its lane-change features turned off.
Honda does not offer hands-free driving on the Prologue. Honda Sensing, standard on every trim, includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Zone Steering Assist and Reverse Automatic Braking, and Honda notes that its Lane Keep Assist can only apply mild steering torque.
Want More Performance? The Blazer EV SS
The Prologue has no performance model. The Blazer EV SS ($60,700) has 615 hp and 650 lb-ft with Wide Open Watts mode, and GM estimates 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds (closed course, based on initial vehicle movement). Its 102 kWh battery gives an EPA-rated 302 miles and accepts up to 190 kW of DC fast charging, and Brembo brakes and Super Cruise are standard. The SS is not rated to tow.

Interior and Technology

The Blazer EV’s 17.7-inch touchscreen and the Prologue’s 11.3-inch screen both have Google built-in, which requires a service plan on the Blazer EV. The Prologue adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; Chevrolet does not list them for the Blazer EV. Both have an 11-inch driver display. A head-up display comes in an RS package and is standard on the SS, and Honda offers one on the Elite.
Bose audio comes on the Prologue Touring and Elite (12 speakers) and on the Blazer EV SS or with the Super Cruise Package (8 speakers). NHTSA rates the 2026 Prologue five stars overall and gave the 2026 Blazer EV AWD five stars overall; it has not rated the 2027 Blazer EV yet. Neither has an IIHS award, and both earned an Acceptable rating in the IIHS small overlap front test.
The Bottom Line
If price comes first, the Prologue gives you the same power ratings, listed battery size and tow rating for $5,100 less with 2WD or $6,000 less with AWD, plus wireless phone integration. If you want available hands-free Super Cruise, a native NACS port, a bigger touchscreen or the 615-hp SS, the Blazer EV is the one to choose.
