The SS gets more range than an AWD LT or RS because of its larger 102 kWh battery. Chevrolet says the 2026 Blazer EV has a heat pump.
Charging at Home and on the Road
At home. A Dual Level Charge Cord is standard. It plugs into a standard 120-volt outlet for slow Level 1 charging, or into a 240-volt NEMA 14-50 outlet for Level 2 charging at up to 7.7 kW. The 11.5 kW onboard charger reaches full speed with a professionally installed 48-amp Level 2 station (sold separately). The EPA estimates about 9.5 hours for a full charge at 240 volts on the LT and RS, and 11.2 hours on the SS.
On the road. The LT and RS accept DC fast charging at up to 150 kW and the SS at up to 190 kW. Chevrolet says the 2026 Blazer EV adds up to 83 miles in 10 minutes with FWD and up to 75 miles with AWD, and charges from 10% to 80% in approximately 39 minutes; times vary with the charger, battery temperature and state of charge.
Tesla Superchargers. The 2027 Blazer EV has a built-in NACS port and plugs straight into Tesla Superchargers. The 2026 Blazer EV can use them with a GM-approved NACS adapter. Vehicle-to-home capability is standard; with the GM Energy PowerShift Charger, V2H Enablement Kit (sold separately) and proper grid interconnection, it can power a properly equipped home during an outage.
Blazer EV SS
The SS is the performance Blazer EV. Chevrolet rates it at 615 hp and 650 lb-ft with Wide Open Watts mode and gives a GM-estimated 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds (closed course, based on initial vehicle movement), calling it the quickest Chevy SS model ever. It adds Brembo six-piston front calipers, an SS-tuned suspension, 22-inch gloss black wheels and an extra-capacity cooling system, and Super Cruise, a head-up display and Bose audio are standard. The SS is not rated to tow, and Chevrolet does not offer a factory hitch for it.
Seating, Cargo and Towing

The Blazer EV seats five, with 38.9 inches of rear legroom. Cargo space is 25.5 cu ft behind the rear seat and 59.1 cu ft with it folded; there is no front trunk. It is 192.2 inches long on a 121.8-inch wheelbase, with up to 8.0 inches of ground clearance (FWD). Chevrolet’s 2026 Trailering Guide rates the Blazer EV LT and RS at up to 1,500 lbs with factory-installed trailering equipment; Chevrolet hasn’t published a 2027 rating yet. A factory hitch is $995 on the 2027 LT and RS (on the LT it also requires the Comfort and Convenience Package).

GM’s hands-free driver assistance is standard on the SS and available on the LT and RS through the $3,795 Super Cruise Package, which requires another package: $6,290 in total on the LT and $5,190 on the RS. It includes three years of service; after that, GM says plans start at $39.99 a month. It works only on compatible roads, and on the LT and RS it supports hands-free driving while towing, though GM says Turn Signal Activated Lane Change and Automatic Lane Change are not available while trailering.
